The Bruins have a long list of what they want to happen before the deadline this season.
When looking at the Boston Bruins' lineup right now, you can see that there are some holes that have to be filled before the trade deadline. While people on the outside can see some things that need to be done, the President of the Bruins, Cam Neely, was open about what he would like to have happen before the deadline when watching the morning skate before the game against the Seattle Kraken.
Neely gave quotes like "another stiff defender would be good" and "you could always use help on offense" when asked about his ideal wish list heading into the deadline for the Bruins.
The team could definitely use both as Hampus Lindholm is out for the foreseeable future and they are lacking depth with experience and proven ability to make a difference in high-leverage games. The Bruins have their targets and likely more that haven't been thrown around in rumors.

Neely went on to say, "that's a big list" and "that's a big wish...based on where we're at." By that he means the holes that need to be filled and the lack of draft capital and NHL-ready prospects that they are willing to move.
He said, "we'll try to figure something out that's going to give us opportunities to improve upon, for sure." The Bruins' management realize that this is another season where it only makes sense to go for it and they can't be stingy on what they have to offer teams in order to have the best shot at winning this season. Roster players could be on the move and the Bruins will have to get creative to address even some of what Neely and the team wants ahead of the deadline.
