This Boston Bruins forward is certainly standing out this pre-season.

During the off-season, the Boston Bruins acquired Mark Kastelic from the Ottawa Senators as a part of the Linus Ullmark trade. While Kastelic may not have been the biggest name in the trade, he certainly is making a good first impression with his new team this pre-season.
Kastelic has provided a little bit of everything this pre-season. He notably scored a goal in the Bruins' most recent pre-season contest against the New York Rangers. Kastelic demonstrated great hand-eye coordination by tipping in Drew Bavaro's shot from the point.
However, Kastelic has mostly stood out because of his speed and immensely physical style of play. The 6-foot-4 forward's high energy makes him impossible to ignore, and it's precisely why he should have a spot on the Bruins' fourth line at the start of the season. The Bruins want to be a tougher team to match up against, and Kastelic should help with that. It also does not hurt that he is outstanding at the dot, winning 56.3% of his career faceoffs.

If Kastelic continues to play a heavy game and occasionally to chip in offensively this season, he will be a solid addition to the Bruins' lineup. It will be fun to see what he does from here, but it is hard not to like what he's provided thus far this pre-season.
