P.K. Subban is starting to feel confident about the Bruins' chances.

It isn't a secret that former NHL defenseman P.K. Subban and the Boston Bruins were not good friends during his playing days. It is understandable, as the Bruins and Subban had some heated battles when he was the Montreal Canadiens' No. 1 defenseman. He also, of course, played a chippy game and was known for being an agitator on the ice.

However, it appears that some of the bad blood Subban had for the Bruins is beginning to subside.

On "The Pat McAfee Show," Subban gave some big-time praise to Jeremy Swayman and the Bruins in general.

Subban said this about Swayman's remarkable postseason play: "I have not given him enough credit as a goaltender. I wasn’t sold on the tandem. I like the No. 1 goaltender. I like the guy that rides... But Swayman’s playing out of his mind right now.”

Subban then added about the Bruins: "If (Swayman) continues to do that, the Boston Bruins, the sky’s the limit for that team. Because we know they can play defense, their power play is clicking like crazy. They made Toronto’s power play look like a Junior B power play this series so far. Boston’s got all the intangibles. And by the way, if Swayman falters, it’s Ullmark going back in there. Boston’s looking great right now. Can’t lie about that."

You know things are going well for Boston when a former massive rival like Subban is singing their praises. Let's now see if the Swayman and the Bruins can end the Toronto Maple Leafs' season in Game 5 tonight from here.
