Georgii Merkulov is one of the Boston Bruins' most exciting prospects. He took a big step forward this past season with the Providence Bruins, posting 30 goals and 65 points in 67 games.
Now, Merkulov is right back to dominating with Providence in 2024-25.
Merkulov has been on fire as of late, as the 5-foot-11 forward currently has seven points in his last five games and nine points in his previous eight contests. With Merkulov being one of the Bruins' top forward prospects, seeing him play this well is encouraging.
With the Bruins' offense struggling, it is fair to wonder if the red-hot Merkulov could get a shot on the NHL roster in the near future. This is especially so if he maintains his excellent stretch of play from here.
