Buffalo Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams has ticked several items off his 2023 offseason to-do list already, having inked Tage Thompson, Dylan Cozens and Mattias Samuelsson to long-term extensions ahead of and during last season, and re-signing captain Kyle Okposo to a one-year contract on May 24.
He’ll still have signings to take care of both on the NHL roster and in the system. And then there’s whatever else Adams might have in mind to continue to shape the roster and build depth in the organization, be it through free agency or the trade market.
