Evander Kane got leveled by this former Sabre.

Former Buffalo Sabres defenseman Nikita Zadorov is known for playing an incredibly heavy game. It is one of the main reasons why the Vancouver Canucks defenseman has become an impactful NHL player, and he put that in full display on Sunday in Game 3 against the Edmonton Oilers.
Zadorov made fellow former Sabre Evander Kane's night a nightmare due to a massive hit. The 6-foot-6 defender leveled Kane into the Oilers' bench. From there, he added insult to injury and continued to rough up Kane.
Zadorov was given a two-minute minor for roughing because of his actions after the hit. However, there's no question that his hit was a beautiful one to see.
The Canucks got the last laugh in the end as well, defeating the Oilers by a 4-3 final score. With it, they now are ahead of the Oilers 2-1 in the series heading into Game 4.
In nine playoff games this year with the Canucks, Zadorov has four goals, seven points, and a plus-3 rating.
