The Carolina Hurricanes will play Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Florida Panthers on May 22. The Hurricanes' goal will be to bounce back after a tough 5-2 loss to the Panthers in Game 1.

If the Hurricanes hope to pick up a victory in Game 2, they will need these three players to shine.

    Frederik Andersen

Andersen had his struggles in Game 1 against the Panthers, allowing five goals on 20 shots. Now, the 35-year-old will look to turn things around in Game 2 and regain his top form.

Before this tough loss against the Panthers, Andersen had been dominant in each of the Hurricnanes' first two series. Due to this, he still has an excellent 1.74 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage even after his Game 1 loss. Thus, he certainly has the potential to have a bounce-back performance in Game 2, and the Hurricanes will be hoping for it.

    Andrei Svechnikov

Svechnikov has been a real force for the Hurricanes so far this post-season, recording eight goals and 10 points in 11 games. With this, he currently leads the team in playoff goals, and they will be looking for him to solve Panthers netminder Sergei Bobrovsky in Game 2 because of it.

The Hurricanes are an incredibly hard team to beat when Svechnikov is scoring, and it will be intriguing to see if he does just that in Game 2 from here.

    Sebastian Aho

Aho is another Hurricanes star that the club needs to put together a big night in Game 2. The 27-year-old center is the club's top forward, and he has the ability to be a real game-changer when playing at his best.

Aho scored a goal in Game 1 for the Hurricanes against the Panthers, but it would not be surprising if he has a bigger night in Game 2 with Carolina now down in the series.
