Relive hockey history as the Hurricanes return to their original North Carolina roots for a preseason clash against the Nashville Predators. Secure your seats starting August 13.
For the first time in over two decades, the Carolina Hurricanes will be returning to their first home as the team is set to play a preseason game in Greensboro.
When the Hurricanes first moved to North Carolina, the arena in Raleigh wasn't yet finished, so for two seasons, the team played in Greensboro at the Greensboro Coliseum (now First Horizon Coliseum, which happens to be the home for the Canes' ECHL affiliate Greensboro Gargoyles as well).
Now the Hurricanes will once again be playing in the Gate City and the team has announced the date for ticket sales.
Tickets will go on sale on Aug. 13 at 12 p.m. EST and Carolina has set up an online sign up for those interested.
The game will take place Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, NC with the Canes taking on the Nashville Predators.
