The Edmonton Oilers defeat the Los Angeles Kings by a 1-0 score. The Oilers put on a defensive clinic - in terms of limiting high danger chances. According to MoneyPuck, Stuart Skinner only had four high danger shot attempts against him out of 55 total shot attempts.
Skinner of course, was rewarded with a 33 save shutout - the first of his very young career in the playoffs. He was certainly dialed in last night.

The Oilers had 20 shot attempts last night, with two counting as the high danger variety. While the Oilers didn't do themselves any favors with the lack of offence created - they scored enough to win.
Evan Bouchard scored the game's only a goal - a power play marker to boot. With that goal, the Oilers became the first team since the first round of the 2016 playoffs to record eight power play goals through the first four games of a series.
The Oilers power play is running at a 53.3% power play percentage.
With the Oilers taking a 3-1 lead in the series - they go back to Rogers Place for Game five on Wednesday. The Oilers hold an all-time record of 15-1 when they are up 3-1 in a series.
At this point in time the start time for Wednesday's game has not been confirmed. The two other games scheduled for Wednesday also need start times to be determined as well.
The Oilers will look to put the Kings rivalry to bed for now - and await the winner of the Vancouver Canucks-Nashville Predators series.
