This former Edmonton Oilers forward made an impact in his first game back from being a healthy scratch.
EDMONTON -- Leon Draisaitl was the hero last night for the Edmonton Oilers. He scored in overtime off of a beautiful pass from Connor McDavid to win the game 2-1 against the Boston Bruins.
Stuart Skinner held the Oilers in the game - stopping 25 of 26 shots to earn his 29th win of the year.

Elsewhere in the NHL the Pittsburgh Penguins were playing their first game following their 6-1 embarrassing loss to the Oilers. Back at home they played the Columbus Blue Jackets.
At 13:33 of the first period Jesse Puljujarvi scored for the Penguins.
Puljujarvi was open down low in the offensive zone - and was able to get a quick wrist shot past Jet Greaves. He finished the game having played 10:20 and also threw a hit in addition to his goal.
Conversely, Connor Brown had two shots and two hits in 9:22 of ice time last night against the Bruins.
Good on Puljujarvi for scoring after being a healthy scratch for several games. That's the kind of effort that should go a long way and ensure that he maintains a roster spot for the forseable future - especially with the trades that are potentially coming down the pipe for the Penguins.
