Prime Video is joining forces with Rogers and the NHL to broadcast all Monday night games for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. This is the NHL's first exclusive deal of this nature with a digital-only streaming service in Canada.

For Edmonton Oilers fans, that means every time the Oilers play on a Monday night you can watch the game if you have a Prime Video subscription.

Prime Monday Night Hockey - as it will be called - will feature a brand new broadcast team giving analysis and play-by-play coverage. More details will be announced at a later date.

This is a huge deal for the future of viewing the sport. With so much media being consumed online via streaming it was only a matter of time before it became the way that hockey is viewed.

This is the first step in realizing that.
