EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Oilers had a huge bounce back game last night.

After being embarrassed 5-0 the previous game by the Dallas Stars they came out all guns blazing against the Colorado Avalanche - to the tune of a 6-2 victory. They dominated in virtually every category, and came away with a much needed two points and shot of confidence.
They weren't just on fire on the ice - but also off of it. Gene Principe - pun master extraordinaire - was up to his old tricks with one of the special guests in Rogers Place last night.

Phil Heath was in the house last night. For those who don't know, he is a former Mr. Olympia-winning bodybuilder. He won the title for seven consecutive years, from 2011 to 2017. That has him tied for second all-time in Mr. Olympia wins with the Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Since his last Mr. Olympia win he has only competed in the event twice - finishing 2nd overall in 2018 and 3rd in 2020.
On last night's broadcast the 5-foot-9 bodybuilder was challenged to an arm wrestling contest by Principe. The results? Entertaining and surprising.
While doing his segment in-between the second and third periods the two engaged in an arm wrestling competition. While it's clear that they are both having fun, Principe is clearly putting more effort into the match than Heath.
In the end, Principe won fair and square. They decided to arm wrestle left handed - assuming that it would level the playing field between the two men.
This win might mean more to Principe than Heath - as the Sportsnet broadcaster now has a really cool story to tell for the rest of his life.
