EDMONTON -- The line shuffling from practice yesterday is paying off for the Edmonton Oilers.

Kris Knoblauch made changes to the second and third lines. Ryan McLeod and Warren Foegele got the bump up to the second line to flank Leon Draisaitl.
It turns out that the speed of McLeod and Foegele is exactly what the top six needed.
In the first 29 seconds of the opening frame the trio connected on a goal.
Foegele passes the puck to Draisaitl - who delivers a behind-the-back pass to McLeod. He tucked the puck into the net off of the arm of the Buffalo Sabres goalie.
The magic didn't stop there.
While Foegele and McLeod were killing a penalty together in the first period - they executed a 2-on-0 to beautiful perfection.
It's clear that this line has chemistry together and today they proved that. With the first line buzzing as much as it has recently the Oilers are best served by getting the rest of the lineup going.

The hope is that the line of Corey Perry, Evander Kane and Adam Henrique can develop their own chemistry as a third line. Having scoring depth is always a great thing for a team with Stanley Cup aspirations.
