An update on one of the Edmonton Oilers trade targets.
EDMONTON -- The floodgates for the trade market appears to have broken open.
Last night it was reported by multiple insiders that the Pittsburgh Penguins would like to get a Jake Guentzel deal done sooner than later - ideally by end of day Wednesday (today).

The Edmonton Oilers are reportedly still in on multiple players including, but not limited to - Jordan Eberle, Tyler Toffoli, Pavel Buchnevich, and Jake Guentzel.
They were also in on two players who have already been traded - Anthony Mantha and Vladimir Tarasenko.
Multiple reports are coming out right now that the Oilers are closing in on a trade that would bring Adam Henrique and Sam Carrick to Edmonton.
It looks like there are multiple moving parts to this deal. Salary retention is involved as well as a third team (to retain even more salary).
More details to follow on this breaking story.
