EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Oilers have an off day today before going toe-to-toe with the Boston Bruins at home tomorrow night. While the players prepare for the game management appears to be busy elsewhere.

According to Darren Dreger on Insider Trading - the Oilers have a couple considerations as far as acquiring forwards before the trade deadline is concerned.

He pointed out the obvious saying, "we know the Oilers would like to add a forward to help Leon Draisaitl in the top six."

Then Dreger explains that the top six might not be the only place the Oilers look to improve.

"They're also looking at what Adam Henrique might bring from the Anaheim Ducks as a third line center."

While it might be true that the Oilers could use a top six forward option to give the offense a boost - you can't have too many good centers on a Stanley Cup contending team.

Having that depth goes a long way. The Oilers already have Ryan Nugent-Hopkins as a natural center who mostly plays as a winger. Even if Henrique fits in as a winger it would be worth it to consider his addition.

The Oilers aren't resting on their laurels. If they acquire Henrique and another top six forward before March 8th - they'll be proving that they are truly all in.
