Wyatt Johnston, C/RW, DAL vs. WPG (44% rostered)
Logan Stankoven, C, DAL vs. WPG
With news that Tyler Seguin is out week-to-week, Stankoven is now assured of a roster spot for the foreseeable future. Already labeled a potential steal even as a second-round pick, he was their AHL club's second-leading scorer. Their top scorer, by the way, is Mavrik Bourque, a 2020 first-round pick who's not far behind Stankoven.
The Jets are a tough matchup but without Seguin, Mason Marchment and Matt Duchene are a little less appealing. Meanwhile, Johnston and Stankoven with Jamie Benn played basically the same amount of minutes (10:58 vs 10:55) as Roope Hintz's line. Connor Hellebuyck is a really tough matchup, so even if Stankoven and Johnston don't score points, they still have fantasy value going forward.
Sean Monahan, C, WPG vs. DAL (33% rostered)
Monahan returned from a one-game absence due to illness and scored two points against the Blues. He stepped back into his L2 role and it looks like the Jets really like him with Nikolaj Ehlers. Monahan plays PP1 for added value and the Stars defense and goaltending have not been their strong suit lately, though they did acquire Chris Tanev from the Flames on yesterday evening.
Rickard Rakell, RW, PIT at SEA (33% rostered)
Rakell has had a really weird season where he scores in bunches or not at all for a very long time. He's now scored three in two games, and both his goals in Vancouver were set up by Sidney Crosby. That's the real upside for Rakell, who plays L1 and PP1 with Crosby.
Gustav Nyquist, LW, NSH vs. MIN (31% rostered)
It's the Gus Bus redux! The Preds' six-game winning streak has coincided with Nyquist's hot run and it's no fluke. Nyquist has four goals and eight points during that span, even though his shooting rate has declined.
Michael Amadio, C, VGK at BOS (0% rostered)
Amadio has averaged 18 minutes playing on the top line with Chandler Stephenson and Ivan Barbashev with Mark Stone out of the lineup. Their line led in even-strength ice time and both Stephenson and Amadio played PP1. Offense is not Amadio's strongest suit, but he's got some pop after being a point-per-game player in the AHL. He's scored three goals and four points in his past five games and offers multi-category coverage in shots, hits and blocks.
