Florida selected Lukashevich in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Draft
A Florida Panthers defensive prospect is taking his talents to East Lansing.
Vladislav Lukashevich, who Florida selected in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Draft, will be playing with Michigan State University in the upcoming season.
Lukashevich had previously committed to Northern Michigan University but earlier this year decided to seek other opportunities.

The 21-year-old had a strong season with the USHL’s Tri-City Storm last year, logging 11 goals and 43 points in 54 regular season games and adding another four assists in six postseason outings.
It was Lukashevich’s first season in North America after skating for Loko Yaroslavl in the MHL in each of the previous four seasons.
He recently participated in the Panthers Development Camp in Fort Lauderdale.
This could end up being a big season for Lukashevich, one that may end with a pro contract.
