The Wild are back in action today as they play host to the Nashville Predators at 2:30 p.m. CT. Here is everything you need to know before puck drop.

ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (30-27-7) are back on home ice today to face the Nashville Predators (37-25-3) for a 2:30 p.m. CT matinee.

The Wild are 5-4-1 in their last ten games and are coming off an overtime loss to the Colorado Avalanche two nights ago. The Predators, on the other hand, are 9-0-1 in their last ten games and are coming off a 2-1 win last night over the Columbus Blue Jackets in Columbus.

The Predators hold onto the first Wild Card spot in the West and are ten points ahead of the Wild in the standings. Minnesota is in the midst of 14 straight games within the Western Conference so getting as many points as possible will be crucial for the Wild.

Marat Khusnutdinov was on the ice this morning for the Wild with the scratches and skated for the first time with the Wild since coming over to Minnesota.

Jake Middleton has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury so his status for today's game remains questionable.

Otherwise, all the lines are projected to be the same as Friday's in Colorado.
