The New Jersey Devils did not make any blockbuster trades at the 2025 NHL trade deadline. Instead, the Devils focused on improving their depth through multiple smaller moves.

One player the Devils brought in on deadline day was Cody Glass. To acquire the 6-foot-3 forward, the Devils traded Chase Stillman, Max Graham, and a 2027 third-round pick. So far, this is a move that the Devils are undoubtedly happy about making.

Glass, 25, has provided the Devils' offense with a nice boost early on. In five games with the Metropolitan Division club since the move, he has two goals, five points, and a plus-5 rating. He is also not showing any signs of slowing down, either, as he has recorded an assist in the Devils' last contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 17. He also scored in New Jersey's previous contest against the Penguins on March 15.

It is hard not to be happy with how well Glass has played early on in his Devils tenure. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native has found an immediate fit with the Devils and is giving them some much-needed secondary offensive production in the process. It will be fascinating to see how long he can maintain this excellent stretch of play from here.

In 56 games this season split between the Penguins and Devils, Glass now has six goals, 14 assists, and 20 points.
