

It was a devastating night in Montreal for the Philadelphia Flyers, as they continued their four-game road trip seeking out some points to keep their playoff chances alive, but, unfortunately, a 9-3 loss to the Canadiens largely dashed those hopes.
There was some relief for Joel Farabee, who found the back of the net after a 10-game goal drought, along with Ryan Poehling netting two, but it wasn't nearly enough to overcome the Canadiens' onslaught of goals.
Juraj Slafkovsky got his first goal of the night, deflecting a puck in to make 1-0 to the Habs just 65 seconds into the game.
Slafkovsky then got his second goal to put the Habs up 2-0.
Brendan Gallagher joined in to make it 3-0.
Slafkovsky got his hat trick to put the Canadiens up 4-0.
Josh Anderson joined the party to make it 5-0.
Christian Dvorak drove the knife in further by making it 6-0.
Ryan Poehling kept the Flyers from getting shut out by getting one past the Habs to make it 6-1.
The Canadiens quickly responded, with Dvorak netting his second to make it 7-1.
Gallagher also got a second goal to bring the score to 8-1.
Joel Farabee pulled one back to mark his first goal since Mar. 16, bringing the score to 8-2.
Poehling got his second goal of the night to make it 8-3.
Joel Armia officially called game with his goal, bringing the game to its final score of 9-3.
The Flyers' next outing will be away against the New York Rangers on Apr. 11 at 7:00 p.m. EST.
