The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired winger Denis Gurianov from the Nashville Predators in exchange for Wade Allison.
Gurianov, a 26-year-old right winger, has played in 14 games this season for Nashville, collecting one goal and one assist on the season. Across his entire NHL career, which includes stints with the Dallas Stars and Montreal Canadiens, he has played in 294 games, scoring 52 goals and 61 assists.
The Flyers will let go of Allison, who has not played a game with the Flyers this season, is considered to be a power forward who is "a great package of size, speed, and skill," according to Flyers assistant general manager Brent Flahr. In 46 games played for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the 2023-24 season, Allison has 10 goals and seven assists.
