The Philadelphia Flyers acquired and immediately put Ryan Johansen on waivers yesterday.
Today, Johansen cleared waivers and will go to Philadelphia's AHL affiliate in Lehigh Valley.
Johansen was part of the return for Sean Walker with the Colorado Avalanche. He also played for head coach John Tortorella with the Columbus Blue Jackets, and there was tension between the two players, which led to benchings and healthy scratches.
Johansen has 23 points in 63 games this season. There is not clear idea what the team might do with Johansen come the offseason, but a buyout could be on the table.
The trade deadline is tomorrow at 3 p.m.
