Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee will play for Team USA at the 2024 IIHF World Championship in May.
The first 15 players have been announced, leaving room for other players to join should they get eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs before the tournament begins.
Farabee is coming off a career season where he scored 22 goals and 28 assists. He's played for Team USA multiple times in his career. He started his junior career with the National Team Development Program in 2016-17.
During the 18-19 season, Farabee was part of Team USA's IIHF World Juniors roster. He had three goals and two assists in seven games.
Farabee's name has recently popped up in trade rumors, but his main focus will be the upcoming tournament.
