Kyle Ross-USA TODAY Sports - BREAKING: Flyers Re-Sign Egor Zamula To Two-Year Deal

The Philadelphia Flyers have re-signed defenseman Egor Zamula to two-year contract with a $1.7 million AAV.

Zamula recorded 21 points (five goals, 16 assists) during the 2023-24 season, leading all Flyers defensemen in powerplay goals and coming in third for goals, assists, and points.

The Russian native initially went undrafted, but signed an entry-level contract with the Flyers during the team's training camp back in 2018.

He spent three seasons in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, totaling 54 points (five goals, 49 assists) in 127 games.

Zamula has also represented Russia at the U18 and U20 World Junior Championships in 2018 and 2020, respectively. During the 2020 tournament, he scored five points in seven games, and was named a Top 3 Player on Team as Russia finished with a silver medal.
