This Flyers goalie is starting to heat up significantly.

Philadelphia Flyers goalie Samuel Ersson had a shaky start to the season. He had under a .900 save percentage four times in his first six appearances. However, while he struggled to begin the campaign, he is showing significant signs of improvement as of late.
On Oct. 29 against the Boston Bruins, Ersson recorded an impressive 25-save shutout against the Boston Bruins. He then built off that in a big way against the St. Louis Blues on Halloween, saving 20 out of 21 shots (.952 SV%) in the Flyers win. With this, he has only allowed one goal on his 46 shots. That is excellent stuff from the 25-year-old.

Ersson is aiming to prove that he can be a reliable starter for the Flyers, and he has been just that over this two-game stretch. If he maintains this strong form, it would make the Flyers a more significant threat in the Eastern Conference.
It will now be interesting to see how Ersson performs from here. He appears to have shaken off the early-season rust.
