This Flyers goalie was absent from the club's latest practice.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

The Philadelphia Flyers returned to practice on Monday (Nov. 4), but a significant player was missing. Samuel Ersson did not practice with the club.

This news comes after Ersson left his last start against the Boston Bruins with a lower-body injury. Thus, this latest development is not the best.

Ersson, 25, is the Flyers' top goalie, so it would be far less than ideal if he needs to miss time. In nine games this season, he has a 4-2-1 record, a 2.68 goals-against average, and a .901 save percentage.
