This Flyers star is playing some incredible hockey right now.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

Philadelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny had a cold start to the 2024-25 season. In his first three games, the 5-foot-10 forward had two goals and an assist. However, he has picked up his play immensely since then.

Over his last 13 games, Konecny has six goals and eight assists. In addition, he is not showing any signs of slowing down, as he has three goals and seven points over his previous four contests. Due to this, he now has eight goals and 17 points in 16 games on the season.

If Konecny keeps this kind of play up going forward, he could have a career year. The 2015 first-round pick appears to be simply hitting a new level this campaign.

Konecny set career highs last season with 33 goals and 68 points in 76 games last season. It will be fascinating to see if he can pass those totals in 2024-25 from here.
