This Flyers prospect is making some noise with the Phantoms.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

The Philadelphia Flyers have an array of interesting prospects in their system. One of them is forward Jacob Gaucher, as the 23-year-old is starting to significantly impress down in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Gaucher has had an excellent start to the season with the Phantoms, as he has six goals and 10 points in his first 11 games. His play is only getting better, too, as he has four goals and eight points over his last six games. In addition, he notably scored a hat trick against the Springfield Thunderbirds on Nov. 2.

Gaucher played his first season with the Phantoms this past campaign, where he had eight goals and 16 points in 59 games. Thus, the 6-foot-3 forward has taken a big step forward in his development early this season and is raising his value in Philadelphia's system.

It will be fascinating to see how he builds on his superb start to the season from here.
