The Pittsburgh Penguins have added to their free agent signings with Noel Acciari.

The opening of free agency rolls along and the Pittsburgh Penguins nab a depth center that has long been rumored to follow Kyle Dubas to the Steel City.

Insider Elliotte Friedman was the first to confirm that the Penguins have signed Noel Acciari to a three-year contract worth $3 million per year against the salary cap.

So far, this is the priciest free agent signing made by Dubas as the new president of hockey operations.

Acciari comes from the Toronto Maple Leafs, the team Dubas general managed prior to being hired by the Penguins.

Dubas traded for Acciari at the deadline and he became a useful depth option for the Maple Leafs.

In 77 games played with the Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues in 2022-23, Acciari recorded 14 goals and nine assists for 23 total points.

Acciari is a 30-year-old center that is surely going to shore up the Penguins’ bottom-six group of forwards.
