The San Jose Barracuda take on the Colorado Eagles tonight in the first game of their second-round series in the American Hockey League (AHL) postseason. In this article, we will take a quick look at their expected lineup, some news about the game, and some matchup news.

    Barrcauda Projected Lineup:

    Gushchin-White-Graf

    Regenda-Bystedt-Cardwell

    Houle-Ostapchuk-Giles

    Sabourin-Vanroboys-Vincent

    Schuldt-Carlsson

    Cagnoni-Frisch

    Hache-Thompson

Duehr, Musty, Chernyshov, Furlong, and Keane look to be the extra players and will not play tonight. At the time of this article, it's expected that Yaroslav Askarov will be between the pipes, but there is no confirmation just yet.

The Eagles have some studs on their team and will be a tough challenge. Matthew Phillips led their team in points with 57, while Jacob MacDonald and Jayson Megna also finished with more than 50 points. T.J. Tynan, Tye Felhaber, and Jack Ahcan are also quite strong offensively, and they have to be shut down if the Barracuda want a shot at picking up a win.

The first game of the series starts at 7 p.m. PT and is available on AHL TV on FLO Hockey & the Sharks Audio Network.
