The San Jose Sharks (16-40-7) head to the Wells Fargo Center to take on the Philadelphia Flyers (33-24-8) in the first game of a five-game road trip.
San Jose is coming off an emotional 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators, where they played their first game after the trade deadline.
Magnus Chrona earned his first career win in the NHL that game, and Thomas Bordeleau scored twice, giving him three goals in his last two games. Magnus Chrona is expected to start again tonight.
Mackenzie Blackwood is still on IR but is traveling with the team during this road trip. Devin Cooley looks like he will once again be the backup goalie.
Mike Hoffman and Jan Rutta were not on the ice for the morning skate.
The Flyers will play this game without their head coach, John Tortorella, who is suspended for tonight's game.
The Flyers are fighting for third place in the Metropolitan division and will be playing desperate. They could also be looking for revenge as the Sharks beat them for their first win of the season back in game No. 12 of the season.
Sharks projected line combinations:
Barabanov-Granlund-Zetterlund
Zadina-Eklund-Kunin
Bordelaeu-Sturm-Labanc (if Hoffman is out)
Kostin-Carpenter-Bailey
Ferraro-Burroughs
Thrun-Vlasic
MacDonald-Addison
Chrona
Cooley
Puck drop will be at 4 p.m. and can be seen on NBC Sports California or the Sharks Audio Network.
