The San Jose Sharks will look to avenge their last game against the Dallas Stars as they play them for the final time this season.

The San Jose Sharks (16-46-8) will look to avenge their last game against the Dallas Stars (44-19-9) as they play them for the final time this season.

The last time the Sharks hosted the Stars, Dallas came from behind and won 7-6 in overtime, thanks to Wyatt Johnston's first career hat trick.

Mackenzie Blackwood will start in goal for the Sharks, and the rest of the lineup is projected to be the same. Givani Smith, Kevin Labanc, and Mike Hoffman stayed on the ice late this morning.

Thomas Bordeleau scored two more goals last game and has shown a significant jump in his development.

"The thing I love about [Bordeleau's play] is that I get the feeling he's not doing it because we're telling him to do it," Sharks head coach David Quinn said. I get the feeling he's doing it because he understands, okay, this is how I have to play if I want to play in the National Hockey League. I think he's taking pride in it."

Sharks projected line combinations:

Kostin-Granlund-Zetterlund
Zadina-Kunin-Barabanov
Bordeleau-Sturm-Bailey
Eklund-Carpenter-MacDonald

Ferraro-Burroughs
Thrun-Rutta
Vlasic-Addison

Blackwood
Cooley

Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. and can be seen on NBC Sports California or the Sharks Audio Network.
