Based on yesterday's practice lines, the Sharks will use the same lineup that played against the Anaheim Ducks. The lines will be confirmed during warmups.

1. Keep the defensive structure
The Sharks played a strong game against the Ducks last Saturday. Dallas is one of the top teams in the NHL and should be contending for the Stanley Cup. The defensive structure must be at its peak to have a chance against the high-powered Stars.
2. The offense wakes up from its nap
The Sharks potted four goals on opening night, then went silent against the Ducks. Fabian Zetterlund thought he scored in back-to-back games, but an offside challenge changed that.
3. Be hard to play against
Head coach Ryan Warsofsky has wanted his team to be hard to play against. The Stars are a tough challenge for a young Sharks team, precisely what it needs for its first road game of the 24-25 season.
