There has been a lot to recap this so far this offseason for the San Jose Sharks.

The San Jose Sharks are in rebuild mode, but that hasn't stopped GM Mike Grier from being active this offseason.

Prospect Signings

Grier has brought in some talent this offseason before the draft, with all positions being looked at.

Goalies Magnus Chrona and Goergy Romanov have been brought in, and we will see what roles they will have this coming season.

Team Teal has also brought in skaters like Valtteri Pulli and 2022 first-round pick Filip Bystedt.

Erik Karlsson

There have been many stories involving EK65: some good, and some involving him no longer being in San Jose.

But the tenure of Karlsson and the San Jose Sharks seems to be coming to an end. The Sharks acquired Karlsson from the Ottawa Senators in 2018.

TSN's Pierre LeBrun did come out and say that both Karlsson and the San Jose Sharks are working on a trade.

So where might the two-time (about to be three) Norris Trophy winner be headed?

Draft Possibilities

The San Jose Sharks will select fourth in the upcoming 2023 NHL Draft; there are many options and opinions on who to select.

There are some other players that Grier should look into, like goaltender Thomas Milic.

Roster Changes

The Sharks could also be in the market to buy out someone from their current roster.

A trade that isn't EK65 could also be on the horizon, with the Philadelphia Flyers looking to change their roster.

Next up for the San Jose Sharks is the NHL Draft. Could we see an EK65 trade on draft night? Maybe. Anything can happen come draft time.

Grier will have his hands full in rebuilding the roster to his liking, but one thing is sure: David Quinn and his coaching staff will all be back next season.
