With a record of 19-54-9, the Sharks own a 25.5% chance of landing the first overall selection. 

The projected No. 1 pick is Boston University forward Macklin Celebrini. In 38 games, the forward had 32 goals and 32 assists. He was also named the winner of the Hobey Baker Award as this season's top NCAA Hockey player. 

The San Jose Sharks have never had the first overall pick in the franchise's history.
