The San Jose Sharks announced that they have sent four players down to the San Jose Barracuda.

Despite strong camps from Luca Cagnoni, Jack Thompson, Ethan Cardwell, and Collin Graf, the front office decided to send down the four youngsters.

San Jose had 24 players skate during today's practice. All NHL rosters must be at 23 players by 2 p.m. PST today. Danil Gushchin's time with the Sharks has continued, for now.

Sending Cagnoni and Thompson down should mean good things for Shakir Mukhamadullin's status. Mukhamadullin rejoined his teammates for practice on Saturday's optional skate.

Sharks top prospect Macklin Celebrini returned to practice this morning. Head coach Ryan Warsofsky will meet with the media following practice and give updates on his and Mukhamadullin's official status.
