    Former San Jose Sharks forward Anthony Duclair has signed a four-year contract with the New York Islanders.

    Duclair played for Islanders head coach Patrick Roy during his time with the Quebec Remparts. There were rumors that the Isles were interested in trading for Duclair from the Sharks at the trade deadline before he was dealt to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

    Duclair told reporters in San Jose that he would be open to returning to San Jose after the season ended. He scored 16 goals and 11 assists in 56 games with the Sharks.
