San Jose took the speedy forward in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft. Gregor played 178 games for the Sharks and scored 26 goals.
Gregor signed a PTO with the Toronto Maple Leafs this offseason and had to battle his way onto the roster.
Gregor will start the NHL season after a strong preseason and training camp.
