Former San Jose Sharks head coach David Quinn joins Team USA's Four Nations Face-Off as an assistant coach.
Head coach Mike Sullivan and David Quinn have a long-standing friendship dating back to when they played college hockey at Boston University. Sullivan recently hired Quinn as an assistant coach for his staff with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Quinn has extensive experience with Team USA, including as the head coach of the 2022 U.S. Olympic Hockey team and the 2022 and 2023 IIHF World Hockey Championships.
John Hynes, who was spotted around San Jose last season before the Minnesota Wild hired him, is also on Sullivan's Four Nations Face-Off staff. USA Hockey also announced that Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella is an assistant coach.
