New York Rangers goalie Jonathan Quick has tied San Jose Sharks goalie scout and development coach Ryan Miller for the most wins by a U.S. goalie all-time.
Quick was a thorn in the Sharks' side for 16 years, playing for the Los Angeles Kings. He has also played for the Vegas Golden Knights and is currently with the Rangers. Throughout his career, he has had a record of 20-15-8 against San Jose.
Ryan Miller joined the Sharks organization this season and took part in coaching during drills at training camp.
Quick won the Stanley Cup with the Golden Knights last season but did not play in the postseason. He also won two cups with the Kings, including in 2014 against the Rangers.
Miller played for the Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks, St. Louis Blues, and Anaheim Ducks.
Quick and Miller were teammates during the 2010 and 2014 Olympics for Team USA.
