David Kirouac-USA TODAY Sports - REPORT: Bret Hedican Leaving Sharks Broadcast Team

According to sources, Bret Hedican will not return to the San Jose Sharks broadcast team for the 24-25 season.

Hedican has been part of the Sharks' radio and TV broadcast crew since 2009. Along with Drew Remnda and formerly Jamie Baker, Hedican would rotate positions as the color commentator for Randy Hahn on TV and Hall of Famer Dan Rusanowsky on the Sharks Radio/Audio Network.

The source confirmed to THN that Hedican was not let go and that he had decided to leave the position. THN was not told what he was doing next.

Hedican gave an honest assessment of the young San Jose Sharks roster during the team's second-to-last game of the season against the Edmonton Oilers. He utilized his playing experience to help describe the game he was commenting on.
