Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports - REPORT: Sharks Actively Shopping Barabanov & Duclair

David Pagnotta has reported that the San Jose Sharks and Alexander Barabanov could not come together on a contract extension and are now actively looking to trade the winger.

"The Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, Carolina Hurricanes, and Tampa Bay Lightning are looking to add a mid-to-bottom-six forward to their lineups and could have interest in Barabanov. The Colorado Avalanche showed interest in Barabanov earlier in the season," Pagnotta writes.

The New York Rangers, Colorado Avalanche, and Seattle Kraken have scouts in attendance for tonight's game.

Pagnotta also reports that Anthony Duclair is garnering heavy interest around the league. Duclair is playing the best hockey of the season since returning from the All-Star break. He has five goals and one assist in his last nine games.

"Duclair, who has a $3 million cap hit, has reportedly attracted interest from the Rangers, Florida Panthers and Winnipeg Jets, among others," Pagnotta writes.

The Sharks look like they will be one of the busiest selling teams at Friday's deadline.
