    Last night, the San Jose Sharks played against the New Jersey Devils and forward Alex Wennberg skated in his 800th career game. 

    Wennberg, 31, has played in the NHL for 12 seasons and has played for five clubs.

    He started his career in 2014-15 with the Columbus Blue Jackets and played with the organization for six seasons. During that time, he played in 415 games, and scored 201 points.

    He then went on to play for the Florida Panthers after being bought out by the Blue Jackets. He only spent a year during the 2020-21 season and played in 56 games and score 29 games.

    After his time with the Panther, he joined the Seattle Kraken and played there for parts of three seasons. He appeared in 222 games, during which, he scored 100 points before moving on to the New York Rangers.

    During his time with the Rangers, he was acquired from the Deadline and appeared in 19 games and scored a goal and four assists for five points.

    In 2024-25 he joined the Sharks and has been there ever since. In the two seasons, he has played in 88 games and scored 42 points total.

    Over his career, he has played in 800 games and scored 377 points.
