Macklin Celebrini ignites the Sharks with a seven-point week, joining NHL legends in a historic scoring pace.

The NHL has released their three stars of the week and San Jose Sharks' Macklin Celebrini was named as the Third Star of the week.

Celebrini was third behind Calgary Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson who was named the First Star and Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski who was named Second Star of the week.

Celebrini has been great this season, this week alone he scored four goals and three assists for seven points, which also included a hat-trick.

This week he also became the fourth youngest teenager to score 30 points in their first 20 games. Which puts him in very elite company with just Wayne Gretzky (did it twice), Mario Lemieux and Sidney Crosby doing it before him.

So far this season, he has scored 14 goals and 20 assists for 34 points in 23 games. Which puts him second in the NHL in points.
