The San Jose Sharks' head coach Ryan Warsofsky met the media on Saturday night after their loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins and things got interesting.
In his interview, he first called out his team and their effort and then shared an interesting quote about what he would to win a game, which included his kids.
Here is the full quote from his media availability.
"Yeah I think so, a lot of new players, we gotta just keep working. Keep teaching from the coaches, keep preparing them. But yeah, trust me, it sucks. I keep telling myself there has to be a reason this keeps happening. I'd give up one of my children for a f*****g win."
The Sharks currently sit tied for last with the Calgary Flames. Their record is 0-3-2, and are still looking for their first win.
There needs to be a lot of improvement from just about everywhere. Macklin Celebrini has only scored one, Will Smith is still waiting for his first and there has been some question decisions regarding the Michael Misa.
On top of that, their goaltending has struggled, very badly. Which has some fans questioning if they should look on the trade market to see if there is someone else to help.
The Sharks aren't expected to be a very good team this season. They are still very much in their rebuild, but no one could have predicted this start to the season. Hopefully, they can turn it around and win a few games with three games coming up against the New York Islanders, Rangers and New Jersey Devils.
