Five players did not participate in the AHL Skills Competition due to weather-related travel issues.

The team initially announced that Mukhamadullin would not participate in the Skills Competition, but the defenseman has appeared on the ice!

Mukhamadullin and Vancouver Canucks prospect Arshdeep Bains played Abbotsford last night.

Earlier in the day, Buffalo Sabres AHL affiliate Rochester Americans announced that their two players couldn't attend the first All-Star weekend event. Isak Rosen and Jiri Kulich, two of the Sabres' top prospects, were supposed to participate.

Charlotte Checkers representative Lucas Karlsson missed the event.

Finally, Providence Bruins representative Georgii Merkulov was forced to delay his travel.

All players are expected to participate in the All-Star Game tomorrow.

California's weather forecast is supposed to continue to be rainy and windy through the night and into tomorrow. Although unfortunate, these players will all get their chance in the spotlight tomorrow night.
