Day two of the San Jose Sharks development camp is underway, and No. 1 overall pick Macklin Celebrini continued to dazzle.
Celebrini hit the ice for the first time as a member of the Sharks yesterday and arguably bettered his performance from yesterday. Yes, it is development camp, but the excitement surrounding the generational talent won't stop growing.
In one of the first drills of the day, Celebrini showed off his skating ability and hands as a way to cut to the net.
While he showed off great hands against a coach, he took it to another level against defense prospect Axel Landén and goalie Georgi Romanov.
It is nearly impossible to score on every shot, but even his saved shots look dangerous. Collin Graf fed Celebrini for a one-timer, proving this point.
Celebrini was part of the first group at Sharks development camp today and won't speak with the media. He will play in tomorrow's prospect scrimmage.
