San Jose Sharks prospect Will Smith came up clutch for Team USA in their 3-2 win against Team Finland in the 2024 World Junior Championship semi-finals.
Smith finished with a goal and an assist. His goal was USA's game-tying goal.
His assist came on Team USA's first goal, a powerplay goal by St. Louis prospect Jimmy Snuggerud.
Smith has been stellar throughout the tournament, with four goals and three assists. He and the Boston College freshman line have made dynamic plays together all tournament.
Fellow Sharks prospect Kasper Halttunen failed to record a point but had three shots.
Team USA will go for gold against Team Sweden tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. PST. Mattias Havelid and Filip Bystedt will get their first look at Smith and Team USA.
