This former Tampa Bay Lightning forward has suffered an injury.

Anthony Duclair was one of the multiple players the Tampa Bay Lightning lost this past off-season. The skilled winger signed a four-year, $14 million contract with the New York Islanders and has instantly become an important part of their roster. In five games with the Islanders, he has two goals and an assist.
In the Islanders' latest matchup against the Montreal Canadiens, Duclair left the contest early due to a lower-body injury. He suffered his injury after falling awkwardly during a scoring chance. He also needed help to get back to the Islanders' room.
Given Duclair's importance to the club, the Islanders naturally hope this is a short-term issue. However, time will tell what happens on that front.

Duclair proved to be a solid rental for the Lightning, recording eight goals and 15 points in 17 games with the club. He also had two assists in five post-season games with the Lightning.
