The Lightning got some big news regarding their star forward.

Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper announced that star forward Brayden Point will return to the lineup against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Point, 28, has been sidelined since suffering a lower-body injury in the Lightning's Nov. 3 matchup against the Winnipeg Jets. This forced him to miss the Lightning's next four games, but he has now been given the green light to return.

This is massive news for the Lightning, as Point is one of the club's top players. He has had a great start to the season, posting eight goals, 13 points, and a plus-9 rating in 12 games. The Lightning will surely benefit from having his offensive production back in the lineup.
